Use the Water After Boiling Potatoes

It has starch and nutrients that can be used

From Nancy Gaifyllia, for About.com

After boiling potatoes, especially if the potatoes were peeled before boiling, the water contains starch and nutrients that have leached during cooking. Use it in making breads and gravies.

I make my own dog food for use this water to moisten the mix, giving the dogs needed nutrients and starches.
