Skorthalia (Skordalia): Greek Garlic Dip and Sauce

This is simply the best meat sauce around, with the tastes of cinnamon, cloves, bay leaf, and garlic. Use it in baked dishes like Moussaka, Pastitsio, or Kreatopita (meat pie), or in any recipe for a baked casserole calling for a meat sauce to give a unique and fabulous taste.

Petimezi: Grape Syrup (Grape Molasses)
Petimezi was used during times of war as a high-calorie way to generate body heat. And when sugar was a luxury, it was an economical solution used in baking sweets and breads. Today, this delightful naturally sweet sauce (no sugar added) has many uses.

Glyko Stafyli me Amygthala: Grape Spoon Sweet with Slivered Almonds
This fabulous spoon sweet combines "fruit and nuts" in a new way. Toasted slivers of almonds are added to syrupy grape preserves to create a delicious taste sensation. Great topping for ice cream.
