Add Noodles Back to Pot and Toss with Butter, Cheese, and Egg Whites
Pastitsio Noodles are Tossed with Butter, Egg Whites, and Cheese

Melt butter in pasta pot. Add the noodles back and toss with grated Parmesan cheese and lightly beaten egg whites. Be careful not to tear the noodles while tossing.

- Brown the Ground Beef with Onions in a Large Saute Pan
- Add Remaining Sauce Ingredients and Simmer Uncovered
- Cook Pasta Until Just Done

- Layer Half the Noodles in Bottom of Pan
- Add Meat Filling in an Even layer
- Get Ready to Make Some Bechamel
- Melt Butter Over Low Heat and Warm Milk
- Add Flour to Melted Butter While Whisking
- Keep Whisking as You Add Milk and Egg Yolks
- Top the Pastitsio Noodles with Bechamel Sauce
- Bake Until Crust Turns a Light Golden Brown
