4-Meat Oven Stew with Feta

Beef, pork, lamb, and turkey... all together in one fabulous oven stew! This recipe is a meat lover's dream. Whether you're cleaning out the fridge and freezer, or start from scratch, this fabulous combination of meats is pulled together with feta cheese and seasonings to create an easy dish that goes wonderfully well with rice, noodles, potatoes, or couscous.

Serves 8-10.

Prep Time: 10 hours

Cook Time: 1 hour, 35 minutes

Total Time: 11 hours, 35 minutes


  • 1 pound of boneless chuck
  • 1 pound of boneless lamb
  • 1 pound of boneless turkey
  • 1 pound of boneless pork
  • 2 teaspoons of sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon of savory
  • 2 tablespoons of prepared mustard
  • 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 pound of feta cheese, crumbled
  • 2 cups of water


Cut all meat into small chunks, approximately the same size (about 1 to 1 1/2 inch squares).

In a large bowl, pot, or pan, combine all ingredients, cover, and place in the refrigerator to marinate for about 10 hours.

Preheat oven to 390°F (200°C).

Transfer meats and marinade to a covered casserole dish or dutch oven and cook at 390°F (200°C) for 1 hour and 30-45 minutes until all meat is fork tender.

Note: Toward the end of cooking time, if the meat is drying out, add boiling water - start with one cup.

Yield: serves 8-10
