Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Yield: 4-6 servings

Pots, Pans, Utensils:

  • apple corer
  • sharp knife
  • measuring cup
  • 2 large heavy-bottomed frying pans or skillets
  • spatula
  • meat fork

Ingredients

  • 4-6 pork chops, 1 inch thick
  • 4 ounces of butter (for the pork chops)
  • 2 ounces of butter (for the apples)
  • 3/4 cup of white wine
  • 2 cooking apples
  • dash of cinnamon powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Step 1:

  • Rinse the meat and pat it dry. This removes any debris from packaging or handling.
  • Core the cleaned apples and cut in 1/2-inch rings.
  • Measure out the wine.
  • Preheat both frying pans on low heat.
