A Grape Leaf Ready for Stuffing and Folding

It's best to parboil the grape leaves for 3 - 5 minutes before beginning in order to make them softer and easier to roll.

Place the leaf on a flat surface with the underside facing up and the stem towards you. (You can tell if the leaf is on the right side by checking for raised veins.)
