How to Stuff Grape Leaves - Add the Filling

Folding Grape Leaves© Jim Stanfield

Whether filling the leaves with a rice, rice and meat, or other mixture, place a spoonful of filling at the bottom center of the leaf where it joined the stem. For small leaves, use a teaspoon of filling; for large leaves, a tablespoon.

Note: All leaves are not shaped the same. If your leaves do not have much leaf that extends down on both sides of the stem joint, skip to fold #3.
