In Greek: πουρές με μήλο και αχλάδι, say: poo-REHS meh MEE-loh keh akh-LAH-thee

A favorite with babies all over the world, this simple recipe calls for a sweet apple (no Granny Smiths for this one) and a pear. Easy, few ingredients, and always delicious.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pear, peeled, seeded, and sliced
  • 1 sweet apple, peeled, seeded, and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon of water

Preparation:

Combine apple, pear, and water in a saucepan and cook over low heat until soft, stirring continuously.

Transfer to a blender and purée.

Cool and serve.
