Fabulous Finds - Fabulous Gifts for the Greek Food Enthusiast

Monday November 26, 2007
Gifts for Greek Food EnthusiastsI usually despair of the fact that holiday shopping gets into full swing so early in the year, but this year there are good reasons. Hanukkah begins at sundown on December 4th, and the major delivery services are anticipating a 22% increase in volume starting now and through the Kwanzaa / Christmas / New Year's season - due to the combination of online shopping deliveries and holiday gifts. So, if you haven't started, this is the time!

This year, I've put together a list of my 10 favorite gift ideas for the Greek food enthusiast. Leading the list is a DVD (photo) that has universal appeal: a cooking lesson filmed on the beautiful Greek island of Santorini. The videography is just gorgeous, and the DVD is much more than a few recipes fixed against a magnificent background - although that alone would make it giftworthy. Check it out on the complete gift list which also includes gourmet Greek foods, books, art, jewelry, DVDs for Greek-speakers, and Greek food cooking classes.

Need more ideas? My Holiday Gift Ideas include everything from utensils, tools, and gadgets to foods and ideas for gift baskets.
